The Jade Retreat is a wellness resort spanning 10,000 sqm in Riyadh. The design blends minimalist architectural forms with Asian and Arabian influences, creating a serene environment that invites stillness.
Linear forms guide movement gently through the space, while neutral materials, warm textures, and simple landscaping shape a calm, immersive atmosphere.
Two layouts shape this vision: one with a single resort across the site, and another with three separate retreats. Both share the same philosophy: to create intentional spaces.
The goal was to create a resort that celebrates minimalism without feeling empty or cold. The challenge lay in striking a balance between refined simplicity and a warm, human experience.
This meant ensuring that architectural restraint didn’t remove depth. Instead, light, material, and landscape worked together to give the space its character.
The result is a sanctuary where time slows down. Soft transitions between built and natural elements make the resort feel effortless. Subtle details like the curated furnishings to the placement of pathways invite people to pause and connect with their surroundings.
The Jade Retreat shows how luxury design can shape the way we live, creating spaces that are calm, soulful, and deeply human.
