At iMaker, we believe great design reshapes the way people live and experience the world. We create luxury environments that elevate how you relax, work and play – spaces that spark joy and enrich everyday life. Our mission is simple: to change the way life is enjoyed through the power of design.
What began as a shared dream between founders Ahmad and Baraa has grown into a global design studio with creative hubs across the world – and we’re only just getting started. With multiple awards under our belt, our work continues to set benchmarks in luxury design. To us, design is living art that’s made to be experienced. You don’t just see it – you move through it, feel it, and carry the memory with you. We work side-by-side with you, listen closely, and design spaces that could only ever belong to you.
We’re not your average design studio. Everything we do is collaborative, so you’re part of the design process from the very beginning. Want to have your say? Always. We take the time to understand what luxury living truly means to you, then we bring it to life in ways you never even imagined.
We like to keep things simple. You talk, we listen. You dream, we build – just great design that makes everyday life feel extraordinary.
And when it’s all done? You’ll walk in and think, yes, that’s exactly what I wanted… and somehow even better.
Ahmad’s journey to iMaker started in 2009 at Damascus University, where he began his architecture degree. When the Syrian war forced him and his brother Baraa to Jordan in 2012, they kept the dream alive – finishing their studies, working in small studios and sketching plans for a global design practice. Ahmad graduated from the University of Petra in 2014, honed his skills with consulting and contracting firms, and by 2017, the brothers launched iMaker with their first turnkey project in Riyadh. What began as one milestone quickly grew into offices in Dubai, Cairo, London and Miami and a reputation for fearless creativity and obsessive attention to detail. Today, Ahmad channels over a decade of experience into creating luxury spaces that feel like living art and stay with you long after you’ve left.

For Baraa Alrefai, design has been a calling from day one. After studying architecture in Jordan, he began his career in Riyadh, where hands-on experience in landscaping and contracting sparked his obsession with how great design comes to life. In 2017, he and his brother Ahmad turned their shared vision into reality, founding iMaker with a belief that design should move people and reshape the way people live.
What started with one project in Riyadh has grown into a global studio with offices across Dubai, Cairo, London, and Miami. Along the way, he has built a reputation for bringing bold ideas and flawless execution together. With more than a decade of experience leading multidisciplinary teams, his focus remains exactly where it began – on creating luxury spaces that feel alive, purposeful, and deeply human. No matter how much iMaker grows, Baraa will continue to add luxury to the lives of clients around the world, shaping spaces that redefine modern living.
