The client required a functional, connected floor plate linking the Living Area, the Master Suite, and Secondary Rooms. The goal was to ensure all transitions felt seamless and expansive, while ensuring each space retained its own distinct statement. The critical challenge was introducing sophisticated color and high-touch texture (such as the rich turquoise glass and accent velvets) without sacrificing the overarching feeling of spacious, minimalist purity established by the architecture.
The primary challenge lay in achieving profound personalization in the Master Suite and Secondary Rooms. This individual identity was established through subtle, high-impact pieces and controlled finishes. The Master Suite made its statement through the introduction of color via a single, contrasting piece, the bold blue bed, set against a light, neutral palette, allowing texture and scale to speak. Conversely, the Secondary Rooms presented the challenge of defining character through extreme minimalism and neutrality. The design here relied on the subtlety of finishes and a meticulously minimal neutral palette to create a distinct, serene vibe that was highly personalized yet balanced the floor's more expressive elements.
Every space, from the most private to the most public, asserts its own character through a different method of expression. Whether it is a singular color pop or absolute commitment to minimal neutrality, each space had its identity. Moving to the Living Area that had its individuality through the finish of turquoise-glass feature wall. This dynamic balance, where each room is a carefully curated statement, achieved through a unique interplay of color, material, and finish. You can see the art if making a statement.
