At this Riyadh wellness resort, the spirit of tradition is revitalized through a contemporary lens, exploring the dynamic relationship between function and form. We dive deep into the remarkable adaptability of the Arabic Majlis and how it can be incorporated in commercial spaces. The design approach of this space was to bring the welcoming vibe and inherent grandeur of Majlis to the lounge, creating a space dedicated to connection, conversation, and shared experience. Taking also a fresh perspective on heritage, the traditional Arabic pattern is creatively used as a backdrop, adding a profound layer of soulful authenticity. Elements like feature design, grand scale, and a carefully considered color theory work in perfectly to balance the atmosphere, creating a lounge that is both impressive and deeply inviting.
